The Finnish Rural Parliament 2017 is a coopertaive effort: put together by a great many different kinds of operators. Hundreds of individuals donated hundreds of hours for the planning and implementation of the programme, in order to make the Rural Parliament 100% effective, excellent and memorable.

The Rural Parliament is made together – by villages and towns and associations and the state. This is what rural development means and this is how we formulate rural policy – vertically from bottom to top and from top to bottom as well as horizontally.

Many thanks to all those who were making impossible possible and creating the Finnish Rural Parliament 2017 event!

The Rural Policy Council (MANE) is the main responsibile for the Finnish Rural Parliament.

The main organisers together with MANE are Rural Network, Village Action Association of Finland, Central Union of Agricultural Producers and Forest Owners (MTK) and North Savo Village Association, which is responsible for organisation at local and regional level.
